And the winners are….

We would like to thank everyone who came to the ISE and visted the Stillwater booth this year. As you all know, we held a raffle for two acrylic Foiles Migrators calls that were donated by Jeff Foiles with all proceeds going to the Oaks Family to help them after the loss of their son Nicholas.

The Stillwater Outfitters staff would like to thank everyone who came to our booth for raffle tickets! It was an honor to help the Oaks family in their time of need!! We would like to announce the winner of the duck call is Dave Dahlbey and the winner of the goose call is one of our Stillwater guides. Upon his winning of the call, he said that he wants the call to be given to Nick’s little brother Justin who celebrated his birthday the weekend of the ISE.

The Oaks family wrote the following statement:

Thank you so much to all of our friends at Stillwater Outfitters, Jeff Foiles and the waterfowl community. We can’t thank you enough. We appreciate all your efforts and generosity, it really means so much to our entire family at this most difficult time.

The waterfowl community is a tight group of high character people. Nick was so lucky and proud to be a part of this community. We can’t even begin to tell you how much we miss him. We have been on several hunts for the first time without Nick and we really need and miss his talent of calling in the geese and knocking them out of the sky.
Nick was goose hunting in Kremmling the weekend of his accident. With the proceeds raised by all of you, we are going to place a memorial for Nick at the Wolford Campground in Kremmling where Nick spent his last days with us. Thanks again to all of you.

Love,

The Oaks Family
